Airtel has announced that they will be launching a new high-capacity 64K SIM card for its post-paid subscribers. These cards will be offered to all new subscribers opting for schemes which have a rental of Rs. 350 or more. Old subscribers can also get these new SIM cards by paying a nominal activation fees.
Apart from providing a higher capacity to store contacts and messages these SIM cards will also enable subscribers to access services like news, ringtones, cricket updates and other services which can be updated remotely. Service providers will also be able to offer SIM-based games on these new SIM cards.
